(London Post- PR) Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif arrived in London today, en route to New York where he would address the 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
The Prime Minister was received at the airport by the representative of the British Government Ambassador David Pearey and H.E. Syed Ibne Abbas, Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK together with the officials of the High Commission.
On arrival in London, the Prime Minister spoke to the Pakistani media and briefed them on the improved economic and security situation in the country.
The Prime Minister, during his visit to New York, besides addressing the UNGA, will meet with world leaders to discuss bilateral, regional and global issues. He is also expected to meet the US leaders and business executives during the visit.
