Martine McCutcheon has become a mum after giving birth to a baby boy.
The former EastEnders actress told fans on Twitter that she is “in love” after she and her husband Jack McManus welcomed their son Rafferty.
Martine, 38, has previously said she worried she would never children have after suffering health problems.
The actress fought a seven-year battle with the chronic fatigue syndrome ME, which led to severe depression.
After discovering she was pregnant last year Martine told Hello!: “We’d always said that if we were fortunate to be blessed with a child, that would be wonderful, but we were very aware that it’s not a given.
“As a woman in her late 30s who’s experienced health problems, I thought I might have to accept that it wasn’t a path my life was going to take, but it would have been a great sadness in our lives if that had been the case.”
Martine had been keeping her social media followers updated about her pregnancy, tweeting about the ups and downs of being an expectant mum.
