Israel reports 3,208 new COVID-19 cases

JERUSALEM, Sept. 27 — Israel reported 3,208 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, bringing the country’s total infections to 1,267,188, the state’s Ministry of Health said.

The death toll from the virus rose by 35 to 7,684, while the number of patients in serious condition decreased from 711 to 671.

The total recoveries rose to 1,201,780 after 8,555 newly recovered cases were added.

The number of people who have received the first doses of COVID-19 vaccine in Israel surpassed 6.09 million, or 64.8 percent of its total population, while over 5.6 million have taken two doses and over 3.2 million have got three jabs, according to the ministry. Enditem
