A large section of Pakistani judiciary and lawyers have joined in the ‘Urban Warfare’ launched by the mafias linked to Indo-Sharif elements. These political/lawyers’ dual elements like Hamid Khan, Raza Rabbani, Ali Ahmed Kurd and others, have endorsed and supported the terrorist attacks of the lawyers’ mob at the (PIC) cardiac hospital in Lahore resulted in multiple deaths.
The urban warfare has started in Pakistan with the fueling of land mafias billions and help of lawyers and judges. Now criminals have been assured full protection at all levels from police to courts, lawyers and even prison staff just in case someone jailed for few months.
The worst thing happened was that an anti-terrorism court (ATC) granted bail to 25 lawyers allegedly involved in the attack at Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC). As per details, the ATC Judge Arshad Hussain heard arguments from both sides and granted bail to arrested lawyers against surety bonds of Rs.100,000. Earlier, on December 20, 2019, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) granted bail to 17 lawyers allegedly involved in the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) rampage case.
The way supreme court chief justice (now retired) Asif Saeed Khosa, took up the army chief’s extension case and commented during hearing it was a clear sign that: ‘he was talking to elements beyond the borders by flexing his muscles and embarrassing as well as targeting Pakistan armed forces’. A Hazara judge from Baluchistan in Supreme Court, Justice Faiz Essa ’s judgments in favor of Sharifs and his apartments and properties in UK and else where have nothing to do with this point scoring with the armed forces?
Soon after Justice Waqar Seth appointed by Indo-Sharif gang also took similar line in General Musharraf case judgment by asking ‘Musharraf’s body to be hanged for three days in D Chowk’. He was also messaging to people beyond borders. It is extremely embarrassing that former judges, generals and bureaucrats taking up petty roles in European or US think tanks. They should be banned for at least two years after retirement for taking up foreign roles and/or appointments.
ATC Judge Arshad Hussain Bhatta conducted the proceedings on bail applications, filed by the accused lawyers – Abdul Shakoor, Muhammad Shahbaz and others. A group of more than 600 lawyers had stormed the hospital on December 11, vandalised property and damaged dozens of vehicles. They also set ablaze a police van during their assault.
At least 52 lawyers were arrested after the attack and presented before the court. Two FIRs were registered against over 250 lawyers who attacked Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) in Lahore.
I have dealt with courts and mafias for many years and have first – hand experience of judicial system. Someone was telling me the way judiciary is at the moment and how judges are recruited form certain chambers it would be impossible to anyone to bring any high-profile criminals to justice. I have seen these VIP criminals following the laws and queuing up in London busses and tube stations.
For the safe exit of Nawaz Sharif to London it seems whole RAW network is activated to support Sharifs as Indians themselves have called ‘Sharifs’ their assets.
“We cannot leave Pakistan at its own devices”, said to me a diplomat at an international TV program hosted by senior journalist Yvonne Radley in London in response to my comment. Why British taxpayer’s hard-earned money given to Pakistan whose corrupt leaders Bhuttos and Sharifs according BBC are involved in money laundering and theft allegedly? No mafia or foreign agency can operate without boots on the ground and local agents’ collaboration.
The great escape of Nawaz Sharif with aiding and abetting of lawyers, judges, medical doctors and officials looks like a Netflix series of Colombia drug cartels. It will be unfair to expect doctors, lawyers, judges and civil servants without guns and tanks to stand up to the criminal violent gangs. Punjab Police Inspector Abid Hussain and Sindh Police Rao Anwar are examples of mercenary use of police by criminal political mafias. Inspector Abid Hussian confessed to have killing over 400 at the orders of Shabaz Sharif former chief minister Punjab, current leader of the opposition.
Mafia gangs of Sharifs and Zardaris are working in the disguise of politics and democracy. They are threatening the state of Pakistan and its officials. All 55 officials of JIT (Joint Investigation Team – Money Laundering and fake bank accounts) from FIA, ISI, FBR and State Bank have told supreme court in writing that they are receiving life threats and need protection.
Political mafias used legal cover for their protection for example Asif Zardari had over 525 adjournments on medical grounds to avoid his case hearings in Pakistan. His father in law Z A Bhutto’s lawyers had over 400 adjournments for petty reasons. The cases were later collapsed due to political reasons. President General Musharraf told me in London: ‘I made a mistake by granting NRO. I did because court cases were not moving forward.
Corruption is weapon of ‘urban war’ and If it continues like that the state of Pakistan will have bigger challenges which men in uniform will not be able to control and that was the plan by Indians ‘Why kill them when you make them corrupt’ as former RAW chief AS Daulat wrote in his book.
Everyone was in a state of shock and feeling violated after Justice Sardar Mohammad Shamim Khan, Chief Justice of Lahore High Court granted bail to Hamza Shabaz in a special chamber hearing on a weekend day off without the accused being present, ordering NAB not to arrest him on money laundering and corruption charges until Monday for 48 hours.
As if supreme court’s judgment to grant 6 weeks bail to Nawaz Sharif to de-stress at home was not enough to shock us last week. Sharifs have attacked the Supreme Court of Pakistan and have been dictating judges like Justice Malik Qayum for favorable judgements against the opponents whose tapes are available.
For Sharifs only Supreme Court Chief Justice Saqib Nisar behaved like a ‘Jirga Head’ and called both Hamza Shabaz and Ayesha Ahad in his chamber and mediated the case in way that saved him from being disqualified from parliament under article 62. It does not matter if Ayesha Ahad wife of Hamza Shabaz got the justice or not but Justice Saqib Nisar saved the leader of the opposition of Punjab Assembly.
Hamza Shabaz has been denying their relationship as wife for years but when a FIR was lodged by Ayesha Ahad and threat was made to form JIT on the issue, he admitted in the chamber and settlement was made.
Pakistani Supreme Court granted six weeks bail to the convicted former prime minister Nawaz Sharif to have medical treatment within the country. On the same day Lahore High court granted relief to his younger brother Shabaz Sharif and ordered to remove his name from the exit control list (ECL) so he could travel abroad.
Supreme of Pakistan gave relief to Malik Riaz Hussian of Bahria Town and all his accomplices involved in ‘Great Land Robbery’ of over Rs 30,000 billion in the history of world. The above examples prove one point that there is no law and accountability for Rich and Mighty in Pakistan. It seems courts in Pakistan are drunk, judges are disconnected with the ground realities and challenges Pakistan facing from all sides from Kashmir to Kabul.
Following Colombian and Mexican experience in dealing with drug mafias and cartels only Military Courts can deal with these cases whom these gangsters think twice before threatening?
It is evident that security institutions and agencies do not have capacity and resources to deal with problems keeping in view the size of the county and challenges. They need to raise similar forces to fight mafia as they have raised force to protect CPEC.
