(Dundee) Today Muslim Friends of Labour Dundee organised referendum Yes/No event at Dundee Community Centre. chief guest Ex MP Ch Muhammad Sarwar addressed a crowded hall with people of various ethnicity, Ch. Sarwar made it clear that Scotland and its People are better off staying united and that the separation would mean risky economy and uncertain future he further stated that the decision to come to Scotland for referendum campaign wasn’t a easy one there are floods in Pakistan and the country going through some difficult political phase.
MP Jim Mcgowen also present at the event mentioned that the Campaign for note vote hasn’t been a smooth ride it was hard but everyone worked hard on it and it was worth it because it is all for people of Scotland and now they should come out on Thursday and say NO THANKS. Councilor Leslie Brenan also addressed the crowd she focused on economy and it’s impact on common person she also mentioned that scottish people are better together and voting no will mean more power to scottish Parliament
Member of Muslim friends of labour Fakhar Iqbal ch stated that he came to this country 24 years ago and loves United Kingdom as he loves his homeland and want to see it remain united on Friday. He also thanked Ch Sarwar to accept the invitation to visit Dundee and address Asian community.
Councilor Asif and Prof Adil Bhatti came to podium as well Prof. Bhatti insisted Scotland future will be progressive if there is No vote win and unity will give us more resources and more powers in hands of Scottish people and its Parliament.
