UAE ignoring Kashmiri Genocide, awarding Modi, brothers no more but walking eagles

By Dr Shahid Qureshi:-

Silence over the genocide of Kashmiris by India is betrayal to humanity. The awarding of killer, murder and racist Naranadra Modi currently Indian Prime Minister by the UAE rulers is insensitive, immoral, unethical from all counts be it his treatment of Kashmiris, Christian, Muslim and Sikh minorities in India. UAE rulers will regret this in future if not now. I don’t mean to be rude but having an eagle on state emblem does not make one an eagle but seems like a ‘walking eagle’.

‘Walking Eagle’ title was given by the Native Americans to the former British Prime Minister Tony Blair in 2011. They explained to a reporter that: “Walking Eagle is the name given to a bird so full of Shit that it can no longer fly.”

Few years ago, Kuwaiti deputy prime minister said to me at IISS a London based think tank in London: “don’t underestimate the power of the people’. He was responding to my question about the people in the streets of middle east supporting the Hzbullah’s response to Israel, but rulers were totally ‘numb’.

Walking Eagle of Pakistan and Kashmir Day

Let’s be clear in the end of the day Pakistanis and Kashmiris have to fight their own battles. I have no doubts about their strength and courage. The fact that Pakistan is so economically weak is not because of lack of resources but because of theft, loot and plunder by all elite, politicians, civil servants and rest. No on can imagine that over 22,000 government servants hold foreign citizenship including high ranking officers in the possession and access to most sensitive information. These are internal fronts which Pakistan need to ‘neutralise’ if it wants to win the war and avoid foreign blackmail from ‘petty kingdom’. This is the front which need to be managed and neutralised by the special forces as soon as possible.

Turkish Daily Sabah reported on 22 August 2019,

“Abu Dhabi was one of the first countries to applaud India’s changes to Article 370, which provided guarantees of limited autonomy and demographic stability for India-administered Kashmir.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in the UAE where he will be awarded the country’s highest civil honour – the Order of Zayed.

The move comes just weeks after the Indian government announced controversial changes to Article 370 of the Indian constitution, which formalised the conditions of accession for the majority-Muslim state of Kashmir.

According to the laws, non-Kashmiris were prohibited from settling in and buying property in the disputed territory, and a degree of autonomy was guaranteed for the region.

The changes to the law by the Hindu nationalist BJP government allow Indian settlements in the region and have the potential to shift the demographic make-up of the state.

Despite fierce rejection of the decision by Kashmiris, Abu Dhabi’s ambassador welcomed the move, describing it as a move that would “improve social justice”.

Rights groups have regularly condemned the conduct of Indian forces in Kashmir, with widespread allegations of torture, extrajudicial killings, and rape.

The bestowing of such a prestigious award on Modi by the UAE given that context has sparked outrage online.

“If this doesn’t convince one of the sheer perversity of the UAE I don’t know what will. And this at a time when Kashmir is being brutally muzzled and beaten,” wrote one social media user on Twitter.

“Modi to be presented with the highest prize of the UAE, whilst Muslims are lynched in India and Kashmir is under military occupation. Think about this next time you spend your money in Dubai,” the Twitter user wrote.

Turks are pretty good at keeping people in their limits on 18 February 2010, The London Post reported: ‘US Ambassador ‘beaten’ by Turkish PM’s adviser’,

“Joseph LeBaron US Ambassador to Qatar was punched and severely beaten by Fuat Tanlay, adviser on foreign affairs to Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Doha, Kingdom of Qatar.

Meeting with US Secretary of Stat Hilary Clinton and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Qatar was overshadowed by row between Turkish and US diplomats.

According to Turkish Daily Zaman published on 15th February 2010, ‘meeting lasted about an hour instead of 20 minutes as previously planned. While meeting was on US Ambassador to Qatar Joseph LeBaron reportedly said, ‘ (Hilary) Clinton is running late for a planned meeting with Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar, tried to enter the room where Clinton and Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan were meeting.

“Clinton’s meeting with Qatar’s emir is more important than the meeting with the Turkish delegation,” LeBaron was reported as saying.

The US diplomat was countered by Fuat Tanlay, adviser on foreign affairs to Turkey’s Prime Minister: “Your are not allowed to speak about Turkey and Turkey’s prime minister that way. You will have to wait till the end of the meeting”.

According to some reports US Ambassador was punched and beaten in front of Secretary Clinton and Turkish Prime Minister.

It seems that perhaps the US Ambassador must have some history lessons about the region as these small Kingdoms in Middle East with thousands of prince and princesses were created by the British out of Ottoman Empire as a result of treachery of some people,’ said a senior analyst.

According to Daily Zaman, after this altercation, Erdogan’s bodyguard asked Joseph LeBaron to step away from the meeting room door.”

Moral of the story is that British after the WWII created these petty kingdoms and over 8000 fake royals in the middle east who betrayed the Ottoman Empire and Muslim World to date from Palestine to Kashmir.
