The X Factor returns at the end of August, and there have been many success stories to come from it.
One such story is 18-year-old Ella Henderson; who came sixth in the 2012 series in a shock public vote between her and winner James Arthur.
This clearly didn’t matter to Simon Cowell, who praised her talents and signed her up to Syco. Ella then spent 18 months making her debut album, collaborating with the likes of Ryan Tedder.
Now she is trying to crack America, rocking up in New York , and performing her hit single ‘Ghost’ on the likes of Good Morning America.
Her debut single was the fastest selling in the UK for 2014 so far.
She has already released some lyrics of her next single ‘Glow’ and many fans showed their support, using the hashtag #EllaGlow over 3,000 times, just half an hour after the lyrics were revealed on the star’s Twitter page this week.
Her debut album ‘Chapter One’ is set to be released in September.
