Scarlett Johansson has opened up about the birth of her daughter Rose and admitted that she couldn’t quite believe it when she saw the little bundle of joy after her arrival, to the point that it all came as quite a big surprsie. Awww.
Scarlett, 30, confessed to it all coming as a bit of a shock as she spoke to W Magazine about motherhood for their March 2015 issue and confessed: “When she came out of me I was so surprised. I had a very strong picture in my mind of what my baby would look like, and, of course, she is completely different. Perfect, but not what I’d imagined.”
Scarlett – who will be hitting the big screen in The Avengers: Age of Ultron very soon – and French journalist Romain Dauriac welcomed the arrival of their first child Rose Dorothy in September last year. The couple then tied the knot in secret one month later.
Scarlett is well known for keeping tight lipped about her private life – but one issue she doesn’t mind discussing in depth is her curvaceous figure and sex symbol status – and her trademark husky voice. She said: “Everyone has seen my breasts. I can change my top right here. When I was young, I would talk and everyone thought I had a cold. But when I went out for films, they loved my voice. It was a different world.”
However it’s not her more sensuous screen siren roles or action flicks that Scarlett really craves signing up to do in her career – her big dream is to star in an animated part. She explained: “I actually visited Pixar, hoping that they would use me for a cartoon. They didn’t. I was ripe for the picking! What happened? …Now they have to give me a cartoon! I just called them out.”
And the Hollywood superstar admitted that even her favourite romantic tale comes from an animated feature – WALL-E. She said: “My favourite love story — I would say Wall-E and EVE. When his lights go out and he gets rebooted. I about die.”
