Prince Harry closes Invictus Games

Prince Harry got his 30th birthday celebrations off to a rousing start on Sunday night at the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games in east London.

The prince has been the driving force behind the sporting event, which saw more than 400 wounded servicemen and women, veterans and those still serving compete in a range of sports from wheelchair basketball to track and field events. The games were staged at the former Olympic Park and the Lee Valley Sports Centre, and 13 countries took part.

Now that he is 30, Prince Harry will be entitled to a multi-million pound inheritance – estimated at £10.7m – left to him by his mother Diana, Princess of Wales.
