(London Post – PR) Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif offered Eid ul Adha prayers in the London Central Mosque at the Islamic Cultural Centre today. He was received by Dr Ahmad Al-Dubayan, Director General Islamic Cultural Centre.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by Syed Tariq Fatemi, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, H.E. Syed Ibne Abbas, Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK, officials of the High Commission and a large number of the Pakistani community. On this occasion, the Prime Minister, together with the Pakistani community, prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of Pakistan and unity of Ummah.
After the prayers, the Prime Minister mixed up with the expatriate community and extended Eid greetings to them.
Later, speaking to the media, the Prime Minister extended heartiest Eid Mubarak to the nation. In his message on the occasion, he emphasised on the need of national unity in face of challenges faced by the country.
