Flights restart at Gatwick after air traffic control outage

Flights have restarted at London’s Gatwick airport after an outage in the control tower’s air traffic management system that lasted nearly two hours, Britain’s second-busiest airport said on Wednesday.

“Flights have resumed, but passengers are advised to check the status of their flight with their airline before travelling to the airport as we return to full operations,” the airport said in a statement.
