LONDON, July 18 (Xinhua) — A reported fire alarm at control tower is halting all planes on Wednesday at London’s Heathrow airport, local media reported.

Passengers on social media described seeing a fire engine head toward the airfield.

Local media quoted a Heathrow spokesperson as saying that the airport is aware of a fire alarm activation on the airfield and emergency services are responding.
