By Dr Shahid Qureshi : –
Few days ago some one asked me about the politics of Nawaz Sharif and response of General Raheel Sharif the Army Chief. I told him an incident happened in the walled city of Lahore some years ago. A wrestler from the walled won gold medal in the Asian games in Korea and made Pakistan proud obviously. Only TV channel was official PTV and its well-known presenter and lecturer of English Dildar Pervaz Bhatti wanted to interview the hero of Pakistan.
The researcher looking for the hero of Pakistan arrived at the house of ‘Shaya Badmash’ in the old city. They told him to come back 4 pm the following day. In the meanwhile the gangsters informed the Asian Champion that we have arranged your interview with the PTV and you should be here by 3 pm. Obviously the hero of Pakistan was there on time but just before the TV team arrived they told him to ‘just massage the horses of the buggy as we will be going out soon’ for the evening tour. The gold medalist Asian champion hero wrestler started cleaning and massaging the horse. When Dildar Pervaz Bhatti arrived at the ‘Dera of Shahya’ notorious for gambling and other illegal activities and he saw the hero of Pakistan massaging the horse of a criminal. He was shocked as he himself was from Gujranwala a known city for wrestlers. The point of the story is that how these criminals manipulated the situation and used this to prove how wonderful they are and that they can have Asian Champion of Pakistan massage their horses.
This is exactly ‘Nawaz Sharif Inc.’ doing to the armed forces of Pakistan. The ‘Banu Sharif’ are surrounded by these type of manipulators and spin doctors like Pervez Rashid, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Khawaja Asif, Rana Sannaullah and Senator Mushahidullah Khan. All the above have bashed the Pakistan Army on various occasions in last 3 years and got away with it. The point is they could not have done without the consent of the leaders and it is not a coincident. All the above are part of the ‘Banu Sharif clan of Ram Gali’ Lahore.
When Raheel Sharif going to the prime minister house 4 times a month and sitting in the cabinet meetings he should take feedback as what they say behind his back after the meetings. Nawaz Sharif like to have oxford qualified persons to run and manage his fully staffed businesses worldwide but when it comes to running state affairs of Pakistan and national interests of Pakistan – Nawaz Sharif had not appointed a full time Foreign Minister and full time Defence Minister as well as many other important bodies since 2013. Why not? Because he is playing for the other side as who would want to play with the team short of players? I think you should ask Nawaz Sharif next time you see him.
On the other hand Nawaz Regime is stretching the Army from all directions and putting pressures on them. For example Nawaz Regime want:
(a) Army to control law and order in Karachi but at the same time Ishaq Dar is acting as saboteurs. They have failed to improve policing and civil administration deliberately because now if anything that will go wrong Army will be blamed and everything goes right ‘ Nawaz Sharif Inc.’ will take the credit.
(b) They want army to conduct elections yet they are ‘rigging election’ in highly scientific ways
(c) They want army to help in flood but they don’t want to improve sewerage and canal systems as well as don’t want to build dams.
(d) They want military help in earthquakes each time but don’t want to improve emergency services and hospitals
(e) Nawaz Regime keep giving walk over to Indians in foreign and defence issues for example in Russia Summit
(f) His agents like Najam Sethi and Sharyar Khan keep going to India for messaging in the guise of cricket planning but getting the country insulted each time?
(g) What measures Nawaz Regime has taken to bring the looted money/wealth from Switzerland?
(h) When according to British MP Rehman Chisti all it requires is a letter from the Attorney General of Pakistan to the Swiss Government asking the names and identities of Pakistanis holding accounts. Pakistanis have reportedly $200 billion in Swiss Banks. If Pakistan get that money back they won’t be required to sell national assets like Pakistan Steel Mills and Pakistan International Airlines.
(i) They don’t need to follow IMF agenda to undermine the armed forces of Pakistan and subsequently de-nuclearize and dismantle missile program?
(j) Obviously Ishaq Dar and Nawaz Sharif are part of this IMF agenda according to many international experts.
(k) The ill-gotten wealth of Ishaq Dar and Nawaz Sharif is used as arm twisting tool in various countries. As these countries use common sense with intelligence and their intelligence reports says ‘corrupt to the bones’ and ‘may sell anything for their gains’.
HE Mahatar Mohammad the former prime minster of Malaysia told me few of his principles about finance and friends after he read my book ‘War on Terror and Siege of Pakistan’. He said: (1) when I need money I don’t go the bank and borrow from my friends (2) I don’t go to my friends too often and don’t stay longer.
The point for General Raheel Sharif to ponder is to get the money back from Swiss banks and get rid of the IMF and its agents in Pakistan. The other point to ponder is don’t go to London too often and places where you are tolerated and not appreciated as they say in English friends don’t need explanations and those who need it are not friends and don’t believe you at all. Some useful idiots might put you in extra ordinary situations in good faith but as you know good faith is a personal experience and carry no weight in military sense? So be careful from those who are following this quote.
“If you can’t baffle them with brilliance then dazzle them with bull-shit” said Lord Nelson.
