PJA demands from Government of Pakistan that they must expose the culprits and do something concert for the safety of journalists in the country.

The journalist community in UK & Europe are requested to join and raise their voices for safety of Pakistani Media persons and freedom of their right of expression; we are looking forward for the strong statements of political leaders, religious leaders, social activist, business persons and peoples from all walks of life.

Talat Hussain stated that three armed robbers, clean-shaved in Shalwar Kameez, aged between 23-38 attempted to enter the house and take away the car. The neighbours’ guard by chance came out and asked them what they were doing. They held him hostage at gun point and continued with the job. Finding them distracted by the possibility of taking the car away, the guard ran back, got the gun and few other people out whose presence made all three of them to run away to the road across the barrier and speed away in a car awaiting them. Legal formalities are done. The car is dispatched to the workshop.

Anything could have happened. I was away teaching a media class. My wife and the youngest daughter along with my niece were at home. Allah has been kind and they are saved.
